Hi All, My name is Clare Paxford, I am a 24 year old aspiring photographer. I have always taken a keen interest in photography, I always take my digital camera with me everywhere, although it wasn't until Christmas 2007 when I got my first digital SLR. It was then I decided I wanted to take my photography to the next level, I decided I wanted to sell my photos so this website was born. Throughout 2008 I went out taking as many photos as possible, trying out the different settings on my camera to achieve different effects in my photography. In October of the same year I began a ten week online course in Digital Photography which gave me the opportunity to build my skills up and also share my thoughts, feelings and ideas on photography with other aspiring photographers. Also with this course I was given the opportunity to improve my digital dark room skills as I was able to upgrade my software to Photoshop Elements (v6). So where next? I am looking into having more photography training and still continue to go to local events like Balloon festivals, carnivals and places of interest like Glastonbury Abbey, Croome Park, to ensure I have a stock of quality photos. I submit my photos to local newspapers in my area, some of which are also located in the gallery on this site. In 2010 I was invited to submit photos to a local parish magazine for a gardening club. This year has seen an increase in the popularity of my Calendars which are on sale with all my other work now from this website.
